So, Austin has had a rewarding week. He had Open House on Wednesday. Paul was home a got to come, and Amber and Trent and Tate were visiting and came too. He got to show us around a little. He really liked showing Trent and Paul the silk worms and toy area. He had made two books. One was about holidays with pictures, and the other was an alphabet book with things like "Allie the Alligator" and "Gloria the Gorillia". He was really proud of them. It was neat to see all the hard work he had been doing at school.
On Friday afterschool Paul surprised the kids with a movie trip. We took them to see "Prince Caspian" the sequel to "Chronicles of Narnia". They loved it and were so excited to spend the time with us, especially Paul!
Then to end the cool week he had closing ceremonies for T-Ball. The league did a lousy job on the ceremony-there wasn't one, but his team did have a pizza party where the coach handed out the trophies. Austin got his first one and was so stoked! He even got to sign a ball for his coach and he felt like such a pro!! We are sad it is over but glad to have our Saturdays back! He relly enjoyed playing and he was good at it. So it looks like I have Fall Ball in my future.

Sounds like a big week for Austin. Your little boy is getting so big. He looks very proud of his trophy.
Nothing like that first trophy smile! Just watch out, they grow and the trophies take over your home. Then one day, they want to throw them out,and then you have mixed emotions....Enjoy them, every one!
Fun! I love that last picture of him! He is so happy!
