K-A-Y-L-A (2 months and growing big)!!

K-Kuddly like a koala bear. She loves to be held and nuzzles into us!

A-Amazing sleeper. She is out for the night around 8pm and wakes for the first time around 4am. I have to wake her around 8am to feed and get her ready for the day. She naps 2-3 times a day, and falls asleep on her own.

Y-Yearns to learn already. She is paying such close attention to everything around her. She copies noises we make with our mouths, and laughs when we make faces at her. She is starting to play with toys and is rolling to her side. She has also noticed the tv and watches Baby Mozart. She loves to hear things: music, talking, Mojo barking, noises at the store, etc. She raises her eyebrows and makes big eyes when she hears something. She is really taking in her environment!

L-Loves water. She loves to take a bath. She is totally relaxed in it. She also enjoys swimming. Yesterday we went to my parents and went swimming and she did so well. Towards the end she was splashing with her hands and trying to figure out why she kept getting splashed!

A-Already to big. Considering she is our last baby, it is going way to fast. This is a girl on the move, and no matter how hard I try she is going to grow up to fast for my liking.

Kayla is such a dream baby. She is happy and very cute. Austin and Autumn do so well with her, and are great helpers. And just in the last week she has begun to recogonize her daddy. It is so awesome to watch her light up when she sees him! At her 2 month check-up she was 12 lbs and 23 1/2 inches long. I am planning to take her to the mall for pics this week. And to do her hand and foot print mold. She makes our family complete and we love her so much!!

Cousins are Awesome!!

Sunday when we blessed Kayla we got a picture of her and Mitch together!

We had a pool party with the Chase cousins, which was fun because it is hard to get them all together!

The kids and I spent our last day of summer in Moreno Valley with the Bain boys playing at their house and the local sprinkler park!!

Austin got to spend a special overnighter at Grandma Chase's with just the boys. They played board games and the Wii, and camped out! Very cool!
Autumn had an overnighter as well at Grandma's with Ella. They had a tea party and watched movies. She had so much fun!!

And we had all that fun with our Bills cousins on our trip to Utah!
We have the best cousins ever!! Love you all!!

Kayla's Blessing Day

We have the best family and friends! Our Ward starts at 8:30am-yeah I typed that right-8:30am! Everyone was on time and even excited to be there. Paul's mom and sister Carol came also, along with my neice Ella. It meant so much to us to have them there! Thanks guys, you all made it so special!

A special shout-out to Danielle Cryder for allowing me to borrow not once but twice her daughters blessing dress. When we blessed Autumn I couldn't find a dress and Danielle offered Janelle's, and it was perfect. So, I asked to borrow it again for Kayla too. Thanks it means so much to have such an awesome friend!! I did tell her, "Hopefully you can stand me as a friend for the next 80 years so my granddaughters can borrow it." Her family also came out early for the blessing too, we sure love you guys!!

We had brunch afterwards. Waffles-the best in the world(thanks Daddy)! We also had fruit and marshmellow fruit dip, bacon and tatter tots! It was grubalicious!!

Four generations of girls!

Our crazy family!

Paul did an awesome job with the blessing. It was great hearing him give it! I love him so much and without all his love and support, and I mean 9 long months of support-I wouldn't have this beautiful little girl! And another shout-out to my sisters her wrote down the blessing so we have it for her, they also did this with the other 2 kids as well. It means so much to look at it-Paul was grateful to read over it this evening and see what he said!

We are so blessed and today was such a great day! Thanks everyone who came!! Love you all!!

Schools Back In!!!!

Autumn is a big 1st grader. She goes to school all day now and gets to play on the big playground. She was a little nervous but after seeing her room and finding a friend in her class she was off to play before the bell rang. She has Mrs. Scarbrough in Rm. 6, it is the same teacher Austin had last year. After school she said her favorite part of the day was a tie between eating at the cafeteria and painting a special picture!

Austin is now a 2nd grader. He was so excitied to get back to school. He has Mrs. Harvey in Rm. 15, and told me multiple times how he didn't need me to walk him to the door or even park afterschool and walk up to get him. And he also fought me on taking the picture. Well, I let him go to the room alone, but did come for a good-bye hug before class started. And I also picked him up afterschool on foot. I am so embarrassing!! He had a blast. He loves his teacher and was so excited to do the minusicule amount of homework he got!

I am glad they are back in school. Summer has been hard on them because it has been to hot to go out with the baby. So most days were tv, Wii, and playing in the house. I am lucky that my kids like school and learning. And Paul gave the kids school blessings, they were both so excited to get them, and I am so grateful that Paul holds the priesthood!

So, we have had a great start to our new school year!!!

Top 10 Memories of the Bills Family Trip to Utah!

The kids and I had the awesome opportunity to travel with my family to Utah for a week. I was sad that Paul had to stay and work, but thank goodness my parents were willing to drive with the kids and I. We did some sightseeing at 2 national parks and Vegas. It was great being able to hang with the siblings and have the cousins get to spend time together.

So in Late Night Fashion here is my Top 10 Countdown of our vavcation:

10. Costco shopping for food. (5 carts of food and 1 gigantic bill)

9. Driving with walkie-talkies (slams over the airway)

8. Cousins playing together. (painting rocks, sitting in the spa, and running around in nature)

7. Finding beatiful places of the beaten trail. (Our own private creek)

6. Devotionals each night. (Memories....)

5. Las Vegas (M&M World and the Lion Habitat at MGM and winning at the slots)

4. Games, games and more games! (Mario Bros. Compettion, Mexican Train Dominos, Catch Phrase, and Piker)

3. Bryce Canyon. (Where Dad lost his hat)

2. Zion National Park (The Narrows, and Austin getting dehrydrated and throwing up in my car)

And the #1 is- Being with Family and just having some fun and making memories. (What is Memory, What is this?!)

Thanks Mom and Dad for the awesome trip and thanks everyone for all the help!!
