High School Sweethearts!

Our love story began on March 21, 1996. We went bowling for our first date, and both had our first kiss that night. We got married 3 times at the school Rein Faires. We had the cool oppportunity to go to all our major HS events together:Proms, school dances, graduations, football games, church dances, youth conferances, and date nights. Paul was baptized on Feb. 27, 2000.

WE got engaged on Sept. 5, 2000 in Newport. We ate at Ruby's and then Paul had planned a beach dessert picnic and proposed on one knee. We planned our wedding. We took out our endowments together in the San Diego Temple on Friday March 9, 2001 & were sealed in the Los Angeles Temple on Saturday March 10, 2001. Paul took me to the Mission Inn our first night as Mr. and Mrs. Paul Chase and then on a 5 day cruise.(Catalina, San Diego, Ensenada)
We had our 1st kid Austin 2 weeks before our 1st anniversary. And before our 21st birthdays(we always thought we would go to vegas). We have 2 beatiful children, a cute house in Lake Elsinore, and we are still making each other laugh everyday. He is the peacemaker, and I am the troublemaker. We both enjoy just hanging out. And when we do venture out of our home we have a ball. I am so lucky to be able to say I married my High School Sweetheart and love him more today than the day I first agreed to go on a date with him back in 1996. I am so glad I said yes.

To celebrate Austin turning 6 we went bowling at the tripped out bowling alley in Lake Elsinore. Among the fish tanks, fountains, and mosiac tile walls we hung out and bowled.
We have known Janelle since she was born. Austin refers to her as her girlfriend whom he will marry after serving a mission, in the temple, and will build her a 5 story brick house with his own hands! This would be fine with me because we love her and her parents Jeff and Danielle.
WE had so much fun and I actually scored over 70 points. I am not very good at bowling. All the kids beat me, but hey they got to use bumpers!
We still have some birthday fun to do. Our kids have a birthday week in this family. I love it because they enjoy it so much. Well, gotta make the second cake of the week!

Austin is growing up...

Austin is turning 6 years old this week, specifically on Wednesday, February 20th!

I put together a slide of his first 6 years for you to enjoy, I can't believe it's already been 6 years!

 

March 10, 2001 Paul and Erin were sealed for Time and Eternity in the LA Temple. This is our favorite picture!!

10 days/6500+miles/2adults/9 yr. old/5 yr.old/twin 5 mo. old girls/16 bags/8 hours.

This is what it took to get my friend Sarah and her kids form CA to RI. I was lucky to have my hubby Paul take off work while I was gone. We had a girls' nite in Boston. We walked to Fenway Park-Home of the Boston Red Sox. While walking I found spots that reminded me of my favorite show "Law & Order". I found a dark alley, garage door store front and a bar with my maiden name on it. I swear I could so here the gavel sound form the show in my head. Boston was awesome. Did you know they have fire alarm pulls on utilities poles? You can be walking down the street and actaully walk over and pull one to summon the authorities. So cool!! We got so lost we had to hail a taxi to get back to our car. Which was cool to me because it was my first ever taxi ride. The city was neat with all it's old buildings and people with cool accents! We also had a girls' nite out to Providence, R.I. and we saw "Juno". We got so horribly lost there to. We even consulted "Lolo" and "Sheila"(2 different GPS systems)to no availe. That town needs better street signs and freeway entrance signs. It's even legal to use the shoulder on the freeway for a real lane during traffic. I thought CA driving was difficult. I am glad to be home to sunny CA. It only got down to the 20's but for me that was freaking freezing. I missed my kids, but it was nice knowing Paul was home with them. he even took them to see Hannah Montana 3D-he was the only guy there. Great Daddy, HUh?! Well, hope all is well with everyone.
