So, I am now 27 and loving it. Paul took the kids and I to see Indiana Jones Friday night. It was so good and the kids loved it. Saturday we went shopping and out to lunch. Sunday we went to Paul's parents and had breakfast. French Toast and suasage. Then we lazied around Sunday and relaxed. Monday, the Cryder's came over for a barbecue and we had so much fun just hanging around. I had the best birthday weekend ever. And to top it off Paul is sending me to "Wicked" at the Pantages Theater. He also gave me a dozen pink roses! I am so excited. I love turning 27!!

Are we in Kansas?

So, we are sure having some weird weather. Yesterday which was May 22nd we were in the 50's with rain strong winds and hail. Just 3 days earlier we were in the 100's! In Moreno Valley two tornado funnels were captured on camera. One toppled a big rig and derailed a train near march Air Force Base. Another tornado funnel was seen in Lake Elsinore traveling at 8mph. Last night we experienced some serious thunder and lighting. Paul and I were counting inbetween to determine how far away it was. 2 miles!! The whole day was just bizzare!
I actually took the time today to check all my emergency supplies and stock up my flashlights. Austin actually had a warning lesson on Tornados today at school! We live in So. Cal. for pete sakes. Not in Kansas. I just find this so freaky and a little unnerving. But we are safe and just really cold and wet. I actually had to dig out tennis shoes to wear instead of flip flops today. Where in the world is my normal May weather at? Hopefully this cold front will move on quickly!
Hope you all are doing good!

Father and Son's Outing!
Friday night Paul took Austin camping. They met up with my dad and brother Tyler, brother in law Tracy and nephew Trent. They all went out to dinner then headed to Sivlerwood lake camping grounds. Austin helped lead the song at the fireside devotional and got to run around with all the kids and have smore's. They slept in a tent and wnet on a little hike adventure the next day. Autin had so much fun. Paul did to, especially since they listened to the Laker game on a car radio!! On the way home they stopped in Corona for Miguel's burritos. Austin was so excited to get his favorite food!
Autumn and I went to my sister Heather's house and we got stuff ready for a party for my dad the next day. She was sad that she couldn't go with the boys, so I set up her tent in my bedroom and she slept in it. It was so cute to wake up to her giggling while sleeping. In the morning we made cinnamon rolls and had some special girl time. We painted our nails, and did each other's hair.

New toys make a fun backyard!
We have a great grassed backyard but we needed someting to entertain the kids. Our awesome neighbors gave us their swing set and with the help of family and neighbors it is up and the kids are loving it! All it needed was 2 new swings and a few replacements boards, and it's ready for the kids. Autumn and Austin helped me stain all the wood before we reasembled it. They are so proud of that.
We also put up our pool for the summer. It fits on the patio so it won't kill the lawn, and is under a patio cover so the kids won't get burned.
Austin wakes up earlier for school to get his swing time in before he has to leave. They love the pool, and ask to go in it all the time. It is nice to be able to open the back door and have something to do besides fight and dig holes. They swim a little, then jump out and play on the swing set. Then eventually end up swimming some more. I love our new toys!

Who let the monkeys out?
Wednesday, May 14th the San Diego Wild animal Park had a free admission day in celebration of their founder's day. So, Austin played hookie from school and came with Autumn and I to the park. We went with my mom and sister Amber and her two boys Trent and Tate. We also met up with Heather and her friend Katie and her twin girls Kelly and Kara! It was so neat seeing animals up close.
The kids loved the gorillas. We saw two playing, my mom said it was like how they wrestled with their dad.
We were there for feeding time and got to see the cheetahs pick out their big meat bone.
We saw lion cubs and a female laying in the shade resting. I could make a great lion they sleep an average of 20 hours a day! Sign me up!!!
I loved seeing the giraffe. It was the animal I wanted to see the most. The elephants were so neat. We saw a the male one chasing around a female. The whole time we were their the poor female couldn't stop running, that male was after her!
The kids were funny to listen to when they were viewing the animals. Autumn said the elephants were to noisy to play at our house and that playing in the dirt is not good. Austin enjoyed feeding the birds. He did say they need to learn to share better.(And a sad side note to the birds is Autumn was allergic to the bird nectar, so she couldn't hold the cup and feed them). We had fun seeing all the animals, and hanging with our family.

Happy Mother's Day!
It was such a nice day. We went to church and then had my family over for dinner. Austin made me a shirt at school and it was awesome. His hands made the flower and fingerprints for ladybugs!
Paul and the kids got me a key chain digital picture frame that can hold up to 60 photos. It was funny because Friday I went to his store and saw it and he was shocked because he had already purchased it, so to keep me from asking for it right then he told me it was crappy. So I went home without it. Then Sunday I unwrapped it and we laughed at each other. He said I almost ruined it by happening to see it on Friday. It is very rare I enter a Best Buy and look around. Paul is there over 40 hours a week so I have no need to go. I love my new toy. I also got a diamond studded star that says Mom from Paul's parents. It was a great day!!!
Even without gifts I am so grateful to be a mom and wife. I have some awesome kids who are so much like Paul and I it is scary. We have a lot of fun together and there is never a dull moment in our home. We already have a pretty packed week. I really enjoy hanging with them(most of the time)! :)
I am also lucky to have such great mom of my own. She has really helped me become a good mom and wife. She is always willing to help however she can, and always ready to play when she can. Thanks Mom for always being you and showing me that doing your best is all anyone can ask of you! I often ask myself "WWMD" (what would mom do). It has helped me in amy sitiuations. And without you I may have never had the courage to try out things on Autumn. You have really helped me more than I can ever say thank-you for. Love you mom! Hugs and lots of kisses!! :) Some of my mom's famous qoutes that I find myself using are:
"It kept them busy for an hour." (said to a husband when I mess is found surrounded by kids)
"Unless there is fire, blood, or broken bone mommy needs a break." (after a tough day all a mom needs is a few minutes of sanity)
The Bills kids really tested this line. After a long day my parents sent us to bed and retreated to their room. Brian and Tyler were messing around and Tyler split open his eyebrow on his bed. Well there was alot of blood so one of us knocked on mom's door and she gave us the famous line. Well, we told her there was in fact blood and she even asked which kid. We informed her it was Tyler and she had him come to the door to survey the damage. It was bad enough for stiches so they got dressed and took him to the E.R. Bless her for leaving us alive and unharmed that night. The 5 of us really new how to throw a wrench into plans of relaxing. Sorry Mom.
WE still goof off a lot!
Welll, I hope you all had a great Mother's Day!!

Sprinklers, Bikes, and Movies-Oh My!!
So, Spring is here and we have sure been enjoying the weather! After many days of fixing sprinklers the kids enjoyed the fruits of my labor.
We have also been going to the park a lot. Autumn's favorite park has a tire swing and lots of bugs. The kids enjoy hunting lady bugs and caterpillars!
The kids and I went to "Movie at the park" Friday night. We watched "Ratioulle". The kids got to make chef hats and lay on the grass to watch the movie! They palyed the movie on a giant inflatable screen.
And to end our crazy week Paul took Austin's training wheels off his bike. Austin was so excited to learn how to ride a two wheeler. He did good for his first few attempts. He rode across the driveway by himself. Tommorow we are going to try at the park where there is more straight and flat sidewalk to work with. He is so proud of himself. I all could think of is in 10 years we will be teaching him to drive a car. Man he is getting so big.
We have had so much fun playing outside and learning and doing new things. I love CA and it's great weather. I am so spoiled!! :)
